Welcome to my freshly created, sparkling clean, brand new blog. After mentally debating the pros and cons of sharing with the world at large, I finally decided to bite the bullet and just install WordPress to collect some of my random thoughts.
I decided to self-host it, because basically, I like to be in control over my writings. Besides, I think we already give up too much information to the big tech companies of the world much too easily. Of course the contents of this site can still be scraped, but at least they will have to work at it. Not that I expect world-shocking revelations to be posted here, but the principle still stands.
This is a new experience for me, so we will have to see how it goes. I expect to update this on a semi-regular basis whenever I have something of note to write about. So please, do not expect daily updates. That said, I hope you will enjoy what I post here, or at least find it informative, and I will try to have something with more actual content in the next post.
